In the domain of UpStart Commerce, leveraging promotions/discounts becomes a strategic imperative for administrators and coordinators. We offer the following promotions or discounts:
- Product Discounts: These are directly applied to specific Products or Product Variants even before inclusion in the Cart. For instance, offering a fixed amount of a single variant's price.
- Cart Discounts: These influence the overall Cart value based on conditions like Cart subtotal, specific Product Variants, or customer segments. Unlike Product Discounts, Cart Discounts impact the overall Cart value rather than individual Products. For instance, applying a discount for multiple purchases of the same variant.
- Coupons: Coupons are alphanumeric codes that offer online shoppers the opportunity to receive a discount on the price of a product or service. Coupons are linked to existing promotions.
