Basic Guide to Questions
This guide provides a comprehensive step-by-step walkthrough for managing customer-submitted questions within the UpStart Commerce Portal. It includes detailed instructions on how to access, view, and respond to questions and how to moderate their status by either accepting or rejecting them.
Upon logging in to the UpStart Commerce Portal, navigate to the side menu and select Questions. Here, you can view a list of all customer-submitted questions.
Tip: You can search for a specific question or filter questions by clicking the Filter dropdown and selecting a filter from the list.
Click on the Edit button icon in front of the question to view the question details. A side window will open, displaying the full question details, including the question itself, the author's name, and the creation date.
To moderate questions, click the ellipsis (...) next to the question to open the pop-up menu.

- Accept: Select "Accept" to publish the question. Once accepted, the question will appear on your website for customers to see.
- Reject: Select "Reject" to discard the question. You’ll need to provide a reason for rejection, such as if the question violates content guidelines or includes inappropriate language.
- Custom Status: If you’ve created custom statuses, click Change State and select the relevant custom status from the list. If no custom statuses have been set up, you’ll only see the Accept and Reject options. To learn more about Custom Statuses, refer to the Custom Configuration guide.
Tip: You can also Accept, Reject, or Answer a question directly from the question listing page.
In the Add Answer box, type your response in the provided text field. If you'd like to include an image in your answer, click the Attach a photo button.
To track any changes made to the questions, click the Audit tab. Here, you can view the history of modifications, including the creation date, time, and author. To ensure the information is up-to-date, click the Refresh button.
