Here are the details of the process of creating custom misspelling lists within the NoChannel Commerce Portal. These custom lists work independently or alongside the existing ML-based spell check functionality to improve search accuracy for your users.
To create a list Spell Correction, follow these steps:
- Access the NoChannel Commerce Portal.
- Navigate to the Search Admin section, and go to Misspelling Detection.
- Add Misspellings:
- Click on the + icon to initiate adding Misspellings.
- Enter the correction: Input the correctly spelled word/term to be suggested for misspelled queries.
- Setting Priority: Define the priority level for the Spell Correction rule to ensure its effectiveness.
- Enter Misspellings: Input one or multiple misspelled variations of the term that users might enter during searches.
