By associating products with their respective brands in the PIM system, you enable more efficient categorization, searchability, and organization of your product data. This, in turn, facilitates better merchandising, marketing, and customer experiences, ultimately driving sales and enhancing brand loyalty.

In this guide, we will walk you through the essential steps for incorporating brands into the PIM system.

Step 1: Accessing Brands

Upon logging in, navigate to the side menu of the NoChannel Commerce Portal, go to PIM, and click on Brands. Initiate the process by clicking on the Create Brand button at the top-right corner.

Step 2: Fill in the Brand Details

  1. Upon initiating the creation process, a Create Brand popup window will appear.
  2. Enter the following details:
    • Name: Enter the name of the brand.
    • Description: Provide a brief description of the brand, highlighting its key features or characteristics.

Step 3: Create a Brand

  1. After adding the Brand details, you can do either of the following:
    1. Save as Draft: Click Create Draft to keep your brand unpublished. This allows flexibility for revisiting and editing the brand details before making it live.
    2. Create & Open: Click Create & Open to go to the Brand's detail information page.

Step 4: Fill in the Brand Details

  1. Start by associating your website with the Brand in PIM by selecting one from the site lists.
  2. Add the following Brand Information details:
    • Brand Name: Enter the name of the brand.
    • Website: Provide the website URL associated with the brand.
    • Logo URL: Add the URL of the brand's logo.
    • Alternate Text: Optionally, include alternate text for the brand's logo.
    • Country of Origin: Specify the country where the brand originates.
    • Description: If you have not added a description on the previous page, provide a brief description of the brand here, highlighting its key features or characteristics.

Step 5: Add Social Media Links

  1. Under Social Media Links, include the following details for each social media platform:
    • Name: Enter the name of the social media platform.
    • Icon URL: Add the URL of the social media platform's icon.
    • Link: Provide the URL of the brand's social media profile.
    • Alternate Text: Optionally, include alternate text for the social media platform's icon.
  2. To add multiple links, click on the Add New button to create additional links.

Step 6: Add Contact Information

  1. Under Contact Information, provide the following details:
    • Email: Enter the brand's email address.
    • Phone Number: Input the brand's phone number.
    • Country: Specify the country where the brand is located.
    • City: Enter the city where the brand is based.
    • State: Provide the state or region, if applicable.
    • Postal Code: Input the postal code associated with the brand's location.
    • Street: Include the street address of the brand.
  2. To add multiple contacts, click on the Add New button to create additional contact fields.

Step 7: Save as a Draft and Publish

  1. After inputting all the necessary details, click on the Save as Draft button to save your Brand as a draft. This action allows you to edit the information later if needed. Review the draft to ensure all information is correct and complete.
  2. Once satisfied, click on the Publish button to finalize and publish the Brand on the PIM platform, making it accessible for use.
