Step 3: Define the Shipping Method Attributes

Once you've initiated the shipping method creation process, provide essential details for your carrier including:

  • Associate to Website: Associate the shipping method with your existing site's list using the dropdown menu. This ensures the shipping method is linked with all the relevant sites.
  • Shipping Method Name: Enter a unique and descriptive name for the new shipping method.
  • Tax Code: Specify the tax code associated with the shipping method. The tax code plays a role in specifying the tax percentage on the shipping cost.

Step 4: Shipping Calculator Option Configurations

While selecting the shipping calculator, you have various options, each with its own configuration steps. These calculators help you determine shipping costs. Depending on the calculator you choose, you can add different carrier options. After setting up a carrier during the creation of the shipping method, make sure to assign a tracking URL to each newly created carrier using their unique carrier Id in the Carriers section in Shipping Management. This ensures accurate tracking of customers’ orders in the Carrier section of Shipping Management.

Store Delivery
